Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited uses of ArmoryFlow's services. This policy protects ArmoryFlow, our customers, and the general internet community from unethical, irresponsible, and illegal activities.

Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account. We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time.

2. General Prohibitions

You may not use ArmoryFlow to:

• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities
• Facilitate illegal firearms transactions or transfers
• Circumvent firearms regulations or background check requirements
• Sell or advertise prohibited or restricted items
• Facilitate straw purchases or illegal firearms trafficking

2.2 Harmful Content

• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Distribute spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited commercial messages
• Post content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
• Share content that is defamatory, obscene, or pornographic
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others

2.3 System Abuse

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without authorization
• Overload systems with excessive requests (DoS/DDoS attacks)
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of systems or networks
• Circumvent security measures or authentication mechanisms

2.4 Account Misuse

• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use another user's account without permission
• Register accounts using false or misleading information

3. Firearms-Specific Prohibitions

Given the nature of our service, the following additional restrictions apply:

You may not list or advertise:

• Illegal firearms or weapons (machine guns, sawed-off shotguns, etc. without proper licensing)
• Stolen firearms or firearms with altered/removed serial numbers
• Explosive devices, grenades, or destructive devices
• Items that violate state or local firearms laws
• Firearms to individuals prohibited from possessing them
• Firearms accessories that are illegal in your jurisdiction

3.2 Compliance Requirements

You must:

• Hold all required federal, state, and local firearms dealer licenses (FFL)
• Conduct background checks as required by law
• Maintain accurate records as required by the ATF
• Comply with all firearms advertising and commerce laws
• Verify buyer eligibility before any firearms transfer
• Report suspicious activity to appropriate authorities

3.3 Listing Requirements

All firearms listings must:

• Include accurate descriptions and specifications
• Clearly state any legal restrictions or requirements
• Include all required legal disclaimers
• Not make false or misleading claims about legality or features
• Include proper warnings about safety and handling

4. Content Standards

All content you upload or post must:

• Product descriptions must be accurate and not misleading
• Pricing must be clearly stated and honest
• Availability must be current and accurate
• Condition ratings must reflect actual product condition

4.2 Respect Intellectual Property

• Use only images and content you have rights to
• Do not copy product descriptions from other sources without permission
• Respect trademarks and brand names
• Remove content if you receive a valid DMCA takedown notice

4.3 Be Appropriate

• No profanity, hate speech, or offensive language
• No graphic violence or disturbing imagery
• No sexually explicit or suggestive content
• Maintain a professional tone in all communications

5. Data Usage Restrictions

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without permission
• Use data mining, robots, or similar data gathering tools
• Collect user information for marketing purposes
• Reverse engineer or extract source code from the Service
• Create derivative works based on the Service
• Resell or redistribute data obtained from the Service

6. API Usage Restrictions

If you have API access, you must:

• Respect rate limits and usage quotas
• Not use the API to build competing products
• Implement proper error handling and retry logic
• Secure your API credentials and not share them
• Provide accurate User-Agent strings
• Comply with all API documentation and guidelines

8.3 No Refunds

If your account is suspended or terminated for violating this AUP, you forfeit all fees paid and are not eligible for any refunds.

9. Disclaimer of Liability

ArmoryFlow is a platform provider. We do not:

• Facilitate firearms sales or transfers
• Conduct background checks on behalf of users
• Verify the legality of listings
• Guarantee compliance with firearms laws
• Take responsibility for user conduct or transactions

You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to your account email
• In-app notification
• Updated "Last Updated" date on this page

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
