Our story
Ruth Halden opened the shop in 1998 in a converted feed store on the edge of town. Her son-in-law Dan Pike joined a few years later with a lathe and a waiting list.
We still run it the same way: we only sell what we would carry ourselves, we tell you when something is not worth the money, and the coffee is always on.
